It also frames the jail's work as protecting the public, staff, and inmates while trying to return people to the community in no worse condition, and preferably better physical and emotional condition. That summary listed Putnam County Jail with 155 rated beds and 169 inmates, which equals 109.03 percent of rated capacity. Putnam County Jail History
